Globe Li(f)e – Is AIL an A+?

May 31, 2024 – Globe Life’s largest insurance subsidiary AIL, and its agencies continue to lie to consumers. A Viceroy investigation has found several current AIL marketing materials contain an AM Best “A+” Financial Stability Ranking (FSR).

AIL was downgraded from “A+” on July 17, 2020, almost 4 years ago. These marketing and sales mateirals are currently in use and circulation by American Income Life’s agents. Metadata on the presentations show that they were created in 2020 and were revised in 2022, omitting to fix the obviously false and misleading facts.

This represents another misleading and dishonest sales tactic in widespread use by AIL.

A copy of this report has been sent to insurance regulators and AM Best.
